About The Snarky Pup 

This whole thing started because of a Maltese named Daisy who made me question everything I thought I knew about dogs.

I wanted a 6-pound lap dog. What I got instead was 14 pounds of fearless, snarky, opinionated watchdog who decided on day one that she was in charge. Huge for her breed. Huge personality to match.

She was the hardest puppy I've ever raised. There were moments I genuinely wasn't sure we were going to make it. And now she is my best friend, my protector, my soulmate, and my most honest mirror. She has more attitude than anyone I've ever met, more snark than seems physically possible, and an intelligence that still catches me off guard. I think I'm teaching her a trick. She's actually teaching me something. Every single time.

I'm an entrepreneur, an introvert, and someone who will always choose a dog's company — but I've learned that dog people are my people too. There's something about someone who loves their dog the way I love Daisy that makes them instantly trustworthy. Dogs love you unconditionally, whether you deserve them or not, without keeping score or holding back. Dog people get that. And that's exactly the kind of community I wanted to build here.

The Snarky Pup exists for everyone who has had a dog completely rearrange their life and wouldn't trade it for anything. The ones who have full conversations with their dog and swear they understand every word. The ones who know the chaos, survived the hard puppy days, and ended up with a best friend they didn't expect.

Daisy doesn't warm up to everyone. She's selective, a little guarded, and completely unbothered by your opinion of her. But the people she chooses? She chooses for life. That's the thing about dogs like her — and dog people like us. We don't need the whole world. We just need our people. If you're here, you might just be one of them.
